Конфокальная микроскопия роговицы - новый неинвазивный метод диагностики начальных проявлений повреждения периферической нервной системы при сахарном диабете

Аннотация

В настоящее время не существует надежных способов диагностики начальных проявлений повреждения периферической нервной системы. Только пункционная биопсия кожи и биопсия нервов могут быть использованы на доклинической стадии, однако эти методы инвазивны и сопряжены с риском инфекционных осложнений. Конфокальная микроскопия роговицы - новый неинвазивный морфометрический метод, позволяющий выявлять признаки раннего повреждения периферической нервной системы и исследовать динамику изменений, что может служить суррогатной точкой для оценки терапевтической эффективности лекарственных препаратов.
